We were not able to verify the accuracy of the information you provided when registering your Georgia Lottery Players Club account. State and federal law requires us to verify your age and identity to allow you to purchase lottery games online.

If you have thoroughly checked the information you entered during registration for typos, transposed digits, etc. and are confident it's correct, then we need you to provide some documentation for our Verification Team to review. We can't complete your registration until you provide the necessary documentation. Your documents will be kept secure: They will be encrypted at rest and in transit, available only to members of our Verification Team, and deleted immediately after review.

We'll contact you via email with the results of your document review.

Tips

  • Provide documents that match the name, address, and date of birth you provided during registration.
  • If your name or address has changed recently, please provide one of the optional documents listed under Document #3 as well as the information required for Documents #1 and #2.
  • We can't accept copies of U.S. military IDs because access to such documents is restricted by the U.S. government.
  • Documents such as licenses or passports must be valid (not expired).
  • You may use a scanner or your phone camera to create digital copies of your original documents. Acceptable file formats: jpg, jpeg, pdf, png, tiff, jpe, doc, xls, zip, txt, xlsx, docx, ppt, pptx, rar, msg, eml, rtf

Once you've uploaded your documents, select Submit at the bottom of the page to securely send your files for review. Note that we require you to upload the front and back/second page of most documents, even if the back/second page doesn't contain personalized information.

Document #1 (Confirm Full Name and Social Security Number)
Provide one of the following original, color documents that clearly displays your full Social Security Number and full name matching what you entered during the registration process.
  • Social Security Card (with signature)
  • W-2 Form
  • 1099 Form

Document #2 (Confirm Address and Date of Birth)

  • Driver's License
  • Government-Issued Identification
  • Voter Registration Card

  • Utility Bill (dated within the past 2 months)
  • Marriage Certificate
  • Divorce Decree
  • A different document from the lists above than those you've already uploaded
